Ky Owen was born into a family on the edge of survival in a ruined world. A world devastated by climate catastrophes and masses of displaced, desperate people trying to live off the last of what the Earth has to give. A world where the powerful and wealthy rule from within walled cities hoping the rest will die quickly so that Earth can be saved.

Everything changes for Ky when his elemental magic is discovered. The druid warriors who steal him away label him Eumann’s Chosen One. A burden he must shoulder from a very young age. A destiny that will require him to travel into the past to defeat the greedy power brokers there.

The stories in this collection are the stories of that world, our ruined future before the beginning of the Time’s End series. Readers will discover Ky’s training, his friends, his heartbreaks, and his enemies.

Destiny contains five short stories and a novella: “Discovery”, “Devotion & Deceit”, “Duty”,  and “Desolation & Deliverance” are Ky’s story. As a bonus “Desire” is a separate story of Ky’s nemesis, Alar Bloom.
